THE PROCESS
Quantitative and qualitative research gave us the framework we needed to build a user-centric UX, design and content strategy that systematically and creatively addressed core user needs. 
User Needs
Based on research findings, we created design solutions prioritizing the following employee needs 

1) Personalization and the ability to tailor their intranet experience
2) The ability to collaborate, easier using social tools
3) Internet accessibility at both work and at home
4) A modern design that “didn’t distract and get in the way”
5) A vastly-improved method to navigate to content they regularly access, and finally
6) Relevant “insider” content that only Viacom could deliver.
